Review of the IYIM year

My dear friends,

A new partnership between NICYI and us has been announced for the Jewish year of Tashfa. A new Young Israel office (yI) has been opened in Israel to focus on programming and Torah in place of the International Young Israel Movement (IYIM). Our logo and website have been revamped to commemorate this milestone. The president and board members’ letters can be found here.

It is our intention to provide a home-away-from-home environment in the Holy Land for all those who visit us there. We will be happy to help you with anything you need while in Israel.

We take great pride in our ability to think outside the box and our ability to develop and expand our programming during a challenging year. The Young Israel has reached a global audience through online events and Zoom programs.

As a response to the Corona pandemic, we launched a new mental health program for singles, couples, and families. As part of our Mental Health Awareness, Workshops and Mental Health First Aid courses, we provide lectures on the importance of mental health awareness and tools to deal with lockdowns, quarantines, and restrictions.

New programming initiatives and projects are planned for the New Year.

Please consider partnering with us in our programming benefiting Israelis and diasporans alike. As of today, we have reached thousands of people throughout the country from a variety of socioeconomic and religious backgrounds. You can help us reach a wider audience with your assistance!
